![]() ![]() Good summer beer.Īll this is very standard Corona fair. Mouthfeel is thin, slightly effervescent (more than expected given what you see of such a low carbonation visibility) and clearly that rim bubbling happens on the tongue to produce very clean crisp flavor micro-bombs to wet the palette. Lingering notes of very faint citrus and cabbage. Back palette lots of spent grain and undercooked biscuit with lingering lime and lemon zest. On the front palette you get some of that skunk cabbage, some wet hay, wet cereal grain, and a little lime juice acid note. In fact, if you blind scent handed me a cup of this I would just assume it's standard Corona. A bit of skunk cabbage thanks to that clear bottle that just lets the sun work it skunking magic. Scents of lemon, lime, and fresh cut grass. In bottle this is all the less apparent minus that crystal clear liquid. You can make the bubbles appear around the room with movement and there is a noticeable lacing and small bubble appearance with very good adhesion leading to decent veins on the glass. Crystal clear yellow body with little carbonation of tiny bubbles. Reducing to no lacing on the face within a good 30-45 seconds. There is a quickly building and reducing head of average height. I really wanted to capture the flavor and smells) using a standard pour. Second poured from aforementioned tall neck bottle into a Sam Adams IPA glass (though standard pint glass is the preferred here. First I did the most likely consumption method- direct from the tall neck bottle. ![]()
